Our make-up artist client loves gloss and colour. She wanted a warm and welcoming updated space with a contemporary layout. Her requirements were for maximum storage, and a seamless island bench top.

We achieved the clients brief by using the contrast of black gloss and white cabinetry as the focal point. The multiple light sources add warmth, complemented by the natural light that floods the room. The full height cabinetry includes ample storage solutions and the high display shelving creates a feature. For the island we suggested a seamless Corian counter top, with an under-­mounted deep black sink to unify the look.

This mid 1990's home created some restrictions with its angled kitchen wall, which tapers behind the refrigerator. We overcame this challenge and found solutions through creative joinery design, helping us to achieved the clean lines and sleek contemporary space that the client was hoping for in her home.
